Off the Map.

In a fit of rage, my almost three year old hid my phone.

That was Friday.

Talk about subtle hints, huh?

After a day of turning our house upside down (which by the way was a very good excuse to clean every nook and cranny of our lives) to no avail, I went about my busy day Saturday.

And you know what?

I barely missed it at all.

I mean, at first the idea of leaving my house without my phone was scary, almost downright terrifying. What if something happened? What if I got lost? What if I needed help? But I pressed on, because with or without an Iphone, life goes on.

And you know what?

I survived.

I also learned a huge lesson. Relying on my phone all the time is downright stupid. It disrupts my moments, and it inhibits me from encountering actual human interaction. I've become a cell phone addicted fembot. Ew. Gross.

That silly little machine, actually had the ability to make me fear life without it. How stupid is that?

This weekend was a real eye opener.

It's not so bad living off the map.
